You can even choose to go up on the huge
roof terrace with its spectacular view!
The apartment is situated on the 3rd floor and there is no
lift/elevator, but 65 low "Renaissance"-steps a
few times a day will only encrease our health! Moreover, the
local shops will gladly bring your heavy purchases to your
roman home without a surcharge.
The apartment is situated in a quiet residential area only
5 km from St. Peter's, near all kinds of shops, restaurants,
bars. Nearby you'll find a health club with swimming-pool
and tennis courts or perhaps you prefer a walk in Rome's biggest
park, Villa Doria Pamphili?
The apartment was fully renovated and furnished
in 2006.
Free wireless high speed internet and local calls.
I, Hanne Retvik Lombardo, am personally taking care of the
rental and have been living only 2 minutes away for the last
13 years (totally 30 years in Rome). It's a very nice area,
with short way to the city centre (bus 881 or 98), but we
also enjoy the quietness of the countryside.
The 26 sqm apartment consists of a sunny room, with a fully
equipped kitchenette: a big fridge-freezer, a 4 ring gas cooker
with electric oven/grill, and of course cupboards and drawers
with all you need of tableware, pots and pans to prepare your
own delicious meals with all the fresh specialities you get
just around the corner.
There's a comfortable double sofa bed and a pouf, which serves
as an extra seat or a small table in the daytime, but easily
becomes an extra bed, if you are 3 persons. There's a cupboard
with hangers and drawers for your clothes. The quilts and
pillows are scandinavian and the linen/towels will be changed
every week.
A small oval dining/working-table is put in the light in
front of the window, but of course you can choose to stay
on the balcony facing south-west, where you can enjoy the
sun or cool down behind the sunshades, if it gets too hot.
The room is airconditioned and there is a double heating
system, so you choose your own temperature. The floors are
parquet.
The bathroom is spacious, airy and modernly tiled and contains
a shower cubicle, WC, bidet, hair dryer and built-in washbasin
with a cupboard underneath. There's also a washing-machine.
In the small entrance hall you'll find a chest of drawers
and a coat rack. If you are bringing a small child, there's
even enough space for a cot, provided free of charge.
